President's Message
The new season is upon us, though some have braved the chillier temperatures already, April 15 did dawn a beautiful and much warmer morning! The day saw 80 degree temperatures and more bikes on the road than have been out all season. It was a sunny, breezy day; the kind that make a biker happy to have only two wheels!
This season we have planned monthly rides open to all, you don't have to be a member to ride with us but you DO have to have your ENDORSEMENT! Knowing that we (as bikers) worry about the cars and the cars usually look upon us as careless, society shunning, feckless miscreants. All that being said we are here to remind you that it takes all kinds and we are mothers, sisters, Aunts and cousins, we are daughters and lovers and wives. And some of us are your friends as well.
Keep your eyes open this season, we will be out there on the roads and also displaying the club at Pride Festivals and parades. We look forward to meeting you and seeing you and we hope you have a great time. We are meeting in one central location this season at Affirmations in Ferndale on Nine Mile Road. We will be meeting every first Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm. Come and check us out, we would love to meet you!
